YOU KNOW YOUR GETTING OLD WHEN......

You know your getting old when you are ask to chaperon a dance!! Or at least that's how I felt when my 13 year old niece called and asked me to chaperon her dance at school Friday night!! I didn't have a clue what to do!! LOL I ask Clayton, "What do I do?? Make sure they don't dance too close? or Make sure they don't smooch??" LOL After I got in there I figured out I didn't have to do much! The dance was for 6th, 7th & 8th graders at Harts Bluff and they are all pretty good kids. I really enjoyed watching them have a GREAT time!! Of course it started out like most dances I remember when we were in school, NO ONE wanted to dance at first....Boys on one side and Girls on the other. I just chuckled under my breath and encouraged them to DANCE!! Brianna IS making me feel really old, she's graduating 8th grade this year. Then on to high school next year....I believe she's going to Mt. Pleasant High School next year. I add some pictures of Brianna and her friends...Brianna is the BEAUTIFUL girl in the white dress. (I'm not partial or anything!! LOL) I didn't take a lot of pictures because Brianna said I was embarrassing her by taking them!! As a parent that's my job right???

UPDATES ON LAINEE

Lainee will be 8 months old in 6 days. She's growing so FAST!! She started crawling right before she turned 7 months old and is now pulling up and walking around the furniture. Every now and then she lets so and takes a step. Last night she let go and stood for about 10 seconds before she fell down AND she tried to crawl up on my end table!! I'm afraid I'm going to have a monkey on my hands! LOL I really figure she will be walking by 9 months old. Blake and Carlee Jo both walked that early too. She doesn't have any teeth yet but that's okay with me...she has been trying to get them for several months now and I'm ready for them to come in so she won't be in so much pain anymore. Even though I have 4 kiddos (actually 9 if you include my neices and nephews that I have watched grow!) I am still amazed how much they learn so quickly and how fast they grow! I LOVE to watch them learn new things and master doing them!! My children are TRUE gifts from GOD and I praise him everyday for Blessing me with them!! I have added some pictures of Lainee... B,B&B...BLAKE, BASKETBALL & BRAGGING

For a few weeks Blake has been playing Little Dribblers Basketball with Harts Bluff. This is his first year to play and he's really having fun. He practices 2 nights a week and plays his games on Saturdays. This saturday is his last game and then he will play in a tournament next week. I have added a few pictures I've taken at a game...I will try and get some more this weekend with his NEW uniform!! They look like perfessionals with their new uniforms!! Blake is #14 and my nephew Bradley is #00. I am also including a picture of my other nephew John Wesley, he's on a team from Chapel Hill called Longhorns, he's #24.

I posted all their numbers and didn't realize I didn't have any pictures showing their numbers on their shirts!! I will try and get some more picturse of all of them this weekend.

I also want to brag on Blake some more....Last May he joined the Boy Scouts of America. In my opinon that's a BIG commitment!! His goal is to make Eagle Scouts! I'm not real sure all the steps they have to get there yet...I can tell you that he's working on his religous knot to wear on his shirt!! It will be something he will wear PROUDLY!! I'm proud that my son has found the Lord, accepted him and been Baptized!! I believe that that is one of every Mother's prayers for their children and the Lord answered mine Sept. 9th 2007!!

Hopefully my "bonus" child, Dylan, will come this weekend and I can find time to make some pictures of all my kiddos to share with yall!! We stay so busy with them!! They are keeping Clayton & I YOUNG! LOL When basketball is over baseball will start and I think Carlee Jo is old enough to play this year so I will have 3 out of 4 playing! FUN! FUN! FUN!

I really look forward to "DOLLING" these girls and their Daddy's up for many more years to come!! It's alot of work to get all their hair done and manicures and pedicures but it's sooo worth it when you see the end result and how happy they are that they look so beautiful!! I don't know yet if Lainee will be old enough next to go or not but hopefully she will!

HERE I GO AGAIN!!

So, I started this blog back in July after Lainee was born and I don't really know why, well I do, lack of time has kept me from it. I am going to try and make a post at least once a week. Bare with me cause I'm trying to learn all of this but I will learn it really quick. Let me see if I can update yall. In August I FINALLY finished school!! Yea Me!! I really enjoyed going to school but I was REALLY glad to be done. I took my state board in Sept. and started to work in Oct. I did take a month off to spend time with my kiddos and family. Blake started school this year at Harts Bluff and he LOVES it there. He's currently playing little dribblers with the school. Carlee Jo is going to the Rainbow School at the North Ridge Church of Christ for a few hours on Friday and she thinks that is AWSOME that she gets to go to school!! She begged all summer to go to school and I just couldn't bare to let her go even part time, I will let her next school year to get her ready for Kindergarten. Lainee is growing like a WEED!! She's crawling, pulling up and walking around furniture. Every now and then she will let go and take a step. Since she is still only 7 months old I'm really not ready for her to walk but I know that its coming really soon. She also is already saying words...she says Hi, DaDa, MaMa, Hey & ByeBye... It's really cute!

Due to the economy Clayton took a leave of absense from Elliotts and went to work in Foreman, AR hanging iron. YES Clayton got a "Real Job" LoL He's home every night and he's bring home a pay check every week, which I'm VERY Thankful for!! I'm not sure what's going to happen when the job he's working is over but I'm thankful for the job he has for now. I'm also not sure whats going to become of the car industury, I can say that it was good while it lasted!!

I am currently renting a room at Headlines Hair Design on Hwy 49 East in Mt. Pleasant. I invested in a new product called "SpaGirl MicroDermaBrasion" Which this Microdermabrasion I'm using is very different that the typical microdermabrasion. I put crystals on your face and use a hand held machine with a soft finger-like head on it. It might sound kinda painful but believe me IT'S NOT! It's AWSOME and VERY relaxing!! You know when people show you pictures of what things can do and you look at them like ya right?? I was kinda like this with this product at first BUT since I invested in it I offered it to clients. I sold a couple of weekly packages to a couple of clients and took pictures of them from week to week and MAN the results we are seeing!! I had a client with a pretty big sun spot on her cheek after 3 microdermabrasion and 3 double peels (I offer them too) her spot has faded dramaticly. I have a teenager coming in twice a week with acne, she's been coming for about 4 weeks now and I've just about got rid of all her acne. We are also working on the scars on her face due to the acne, it's starting to fade!! I could name a few more that's coming regularly to me but I'm sure you are getting my point. This stuff is awsome!! Not to mention the fact that it will tighten your face and get rid of fine lines and wrinkles!! I'm hoping to get myself in the habit of using this on a regular basis so I won't ever look my age! LoL I'm also doing hair and love that too!! =) If you every need someone to do your hair or want a facial let me know I can hook you up!!
